Basic Function
Under the supervision of a professional surveyor, the technician will perform topographical survey duties including field and topographic survey, deed research and CAD drafting. Additional duties of engineering technician will be performed under the supervision of a professional engineer and will include performing manual or mechanical traffic counts, field traffic data collections and CAD drafting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
- Perform field data collection
- Travel to and from various project locations throughout the state (jobsite transportation provided by company vehicle)
- Data transfer and data reduction
- Equipment maintenance and procurement as needed

Professional Surveyor (P.S.)

Operate surveying equipment in performing assigned surveying tasks, and maintain surveying equipment. Prepare surveying proposals. Prepare Right of Way plan documents. Manage and complete surveying projects. Interact with clients.

Senior Municipal Engineer
Full-Time

The municipal engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as municipal engineering, wastewater treatment, stormwater management, water supply and project management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to
· Develops plans for project, supervising and participating in project design
· Designs and oversees a wide variety of projects related to municipal improvements
· Conducts street designing and street needs studies
· Complete technical analyses of the necessity of new streets, including modifications of existing streets
· Maintain city-wide maps, plans and thoroughfare plan
· Contribute traffic engineering principles to the design of traffic, signals, signs, lights and maintenance
· Maintain databases per project managers’ direction
· Research, write and edit technical reports and business correspondence
· Spending time in the field offering engineering support and recommendations
· Field review and/or site visits or field work as required
· Attend project related meetings as required
· Perform all other related duties as assigned

Field Technician (Entry-Level)
$20/Hour

Basic Function
Work on tasks and maintain updated project records for active projects. Traffic counting, installation of microwave radar counters, technical field work, and assist Project Managers with associated project tasks. Facilitate communication between local company project managers, offices, and clients.

- Assist technicians doing counts and/or field work
- Drafting in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Support project managers with traffic and roadway engineering projects
