Cambridge Avenue Reconstruction

Columbia Township, Ohio

This project consisted of improvements to 1500 LF along Cambridge Road, including Plainville Road. TEC was retained by Columbia Township to complete the design including services such as: roadway design, drainage, lighting design, pavement markings, right of way plan development, and surveying. The construction consisted of a full roadway reconstruction in an urban residential environment and sidewalk additions for future connection along the corridor. This complex project also included storm water detention for a pre-existing storm water issue. This entire area experiences extreme flooding due to overland water flow and capacity issues downtown. This entailed the installation of a 72 inch pipe under the roadway for 400 feet. The project also involved the design of a parking lot off of Cambridge Avenue.
