Blue Rock Road Sidewalks

Green Township, Ohio

TEC supported Green Township in securing a SORTA grant and subsequently provided comprehensive design services for the Blue Rock Road Sidewalk project in Hamilton County, Ohio. This vital infrastructure improvement filled a critical pedestrian gap by connecting existing sidewalks at Seiler Drive directly to Blue Rock Park. The project scope spanned both sides of Blue Rock Road from Colerain Avenue to Seiler Drive. Supported by our initial field survey to establish accurate baselines and locate existing underground utilities, the design introduced a new, continuous concrete walkway equipped with ADA-compliant curb ramps. In addition to the geometric design, the work encompassed detailed drainage calculations, right of way, coordinating necessary utility adjustments, and restoring intersecting asphalt and concrete driveways. By successfully bridging this pedestrian gap, the project significantly enhanced community mobility and provided a much needed, accessible link along the corridor.
