TEC performed and coordinated field data collected for an asset inventory that encompassed 421 miles of county-maintained roads within Licking County, Ohio. This involved collection of various attributes for signs, hazards, curves, no passing zones and guardrails within the county. In addition, TEC developed a Microsoft Access database for the client to store the data with a link to the client’s GIS mapping system. This inventory method was tailored to suit the needs of the county and will provide them with an important tool to track and plan for maintenance and replacement of assets in the future. In 2019, TEC completed a ball bank study and guardrail inventory.
