SR 41 Safety Study

TEC was retained by ODOT to review a segment of SR 41 in Brown County. The objective was to determine potential safety countermeasures within the curved segment and to address run-off the road crashes. Our team studied various curve improvements including application of micro-surfacing course and installation of two additional culverts to address water run-off. TEC was responsible for evaluation of existing conditions, such as drainage, roadway geometry, pavement markings, and development of improvement recommendations. TEC completed preliminary engineering plans for the project based upon our team’s survey.
