KENWOOD ROAD ACCESS MANAGMENT PROJECT
Sycamore Township, Ohio

Sycamore Township has contracted with TEC Engineering, Inc. to complete an access management study of the Kenwood Road Corridor from Montgomery Road (US 22) to Euclid Avenue. As part of this study, TEC will review traffic counts, traffic signal timing, accident reports, property and parking lot layout, and driveway location and utilization. TEC will review solutions that not only improve access management, capacity and traffic flow, but also solutions that address safety concerns along the study corridor. The final report will include a full access management plan for the corridor based on the Hamilton County Access Management Regulations. Provided CAGIS information will be used to draft preliminary engineering plans for recommended solutions and/or aesthetic improvements to aid in the constructability review and cost estimating. All solutions will be classified as “short term” or “long term” and potential funding sources (i.e. local funds or county, state or federal grant) identified for each.
